Although balancing them all daily can be a challenge, especially considering the hectic workload and travel schedule which can average around 75 flights and 15 countries a year. As a family we opted to reside in Southern Spain, where the children could become truly bilingual and we could all take advantage of the down time and follow some truly great outdoor pursuits such as horse riding, paddle tennis and sailing.
Having been involved in the talent sector since I graduated from university some 19 years ago, I’ve had the privilege of building some truly amazing staffing businesses and working with some of the best minds in the industry.
For me the formula is very simple, work with the best talent, provide the best talent and deliver the quality of service you would want delivered to yourself. Which is exactly what we have set out to achieve across the TechStream Group.
Having worked with all the board members and many of our senior leaders previously meant there was an immediate bond and synergy cross the entire business in all our locations, two critical ingredients for a successful start-up.
Achieving such a senior balance creates a very strong foundation across all the brands within the group, and knowing each other’s strengths and weaknesses really allows you to have confidence in those around you to take ownership and drive forward with the desire and passion needed.

“Guten Tag! Wie gehts?” As you may notice I am the Managing Partner for TechStream’s German speaking countries. I was part of the EarthStream founding team and have since built successful office locations in Zurich, Munich and Hamburg.
I started my career many years ago with one of the big global recruitment companies; so when I was approached to join an innovative start up and build a German capability from the ground floor, I felt the opportunity was too great to pass.
One thing that really makes the difference are the people that you work with and for me that was critical in my decision to join, the values within the group are key to our success and I make sure these hold true in every aspect of the German build and this is reflective in the amazing people we now have in the team.
Besides of managing the operations and the business leaders I like to lead from the front and I engage regularly with my key clients to win & deliver executive searches. We combine technical & market knowledge with a good network and efficient search and identification methodology. In my career I only failed on one search and as of my knowledge this position is not filled until today.
My family lives with me in St. Gallen / Switzerland and I travel regularly between Zürich, Munich, Hamburg and the other European and global offices. If I am at home I spend the time with my two boys and I like to sail at lake Constance or to go hiking in the Appenzeller Alps.

Prior to building our business in Cape Town, I had spent over six years in the UK recruitment market focusing on hedge funds & asset management whilst developing my recruitment skills. London is one of the world’s recruitment capitals and was fundamental in gaining the knowledge needed to build a market leading practice here in South Africa.
I’ve now been back for over 6 years and loving every minute of it; I’ve worked on many projects across the MEA region that range from staffing up large greenfield mining operations in West Africa to delivering turnkey solutions to enterprise cloud application vendors. The variety of opportunity in such an emerging market is outstanding.
We have positioned ourselves at the cutting edge of the market and are working with some of the hottest technologies across some of the best businesses in what I can only describe as true partnerships.
Building a business like ours can take its toll, not least on the amount of personal time you have, and that’s why you must take every opportunity to enjoy the fruits of your labour. I am very fortunate to have married a beautiful wife and we have a new beautiful son which takes up most of our free time. But if there is a morning going spare then you’ll see me on my paddle board heading up the west coast.

Originally residing in the UK and providing technology recruitment into financial markets, I subsequently spent 9 years living & recruiting cutting edge technologists across Asia. As part of TechStream’s broader global growth strategy and globalization of our CyberStream brand this has seen me move to the US (via Cape Town) to spearhead our International practice in New York.
My passion in talent acquisition & technology is derived from striving for excellence in service delivery and adding value to our clients by the execution of strategic sourcing solutions. As a founding director of EarthStream and later CloudStream and most recently CyberStream I have helped define and nurture these shared values & beliefs within our company.

Throughout my career I have had an affinity with technically challenging marketplaces where technical advances & evolutions can change the landscape of how you work. Outside of work I cultivate my curious & energetic nature by exploring new cultures and have a passion for travelling. I have been fortunate in my life to experience the working and social culture across multiple countries around the world and have experiences ranging from Caving in New Zealand, Elephant riding in Lao to hiking in Cape Town or Scuba Diving in the Barrier Reef.
Having worked with EarthStream for several years I was very excited when asked to enlarge my role and become Managing Partner for TechStream Group’s Asia Business.
Based in Singapore “SMART nation” we have become a melting-pot of cultures, full of youth, with an insatiable appetite for technology. I decided to see it all in style, on my newly acquired Harley Davidson. I bought my Sportster48 a year ago with the sole purpose of seeing the country, now it’s my main mode of transport and takes me to and from our offices in the heart of the digital centre of Cape Town.

The digital revolution in Cape Town is unprecedented – some articles quoting it as the fastest technology start up centre outside of Paola Alto. I knew that I needed to be part of this revolution. Having originally trained as an Industrial Engineer and loving all aspects of human interaction, I quickly decided upon a career in Engineering recruitment.
As the years have progressed so has my desire to be at the fore front of technology and this led me to focus on scarce skills & talent within Cyber and Information Security.

I began my recruitment career in London in 2011, straight out of University. Having lived my life in the countryside, moving to the city was a daunting move, but one I knew I needed to make if I was to fulfil my career aspirations.
Since this time, I have exclusively worked in the Cyber Security domain and have enjoyed building my knowledge of the changing technology within the cyber market and the ever-increasing business challenges relating to this. It has been an exciting and insightful period witnessing organisational awareness of the challenges and cyber threats increase until it is now considered a C-Level item on the agenda.
I can now boast having supported projects globally in multiple industry domains and most specifically within the Consulting, Financial Services & Defence sectors.

Clients come to me with the hard-to-fill requirements and understand that they can trust my integrity, knowledge and confidentiality.
After incubating CyberStream US from London, and then moving to New York as one of the founding team. I knew the US market would present a new set of challenges in the most advanced security market in the world, whilst allowing me to explore a new diverse culture and meet exciting new people.

As a young man growing up in a military aligned family, security & defense is a concept ingrained in my beliefs and partly what has driven my recruitment career into the cybersecurity arena.
Starting my early professional life training as a Chef, interning in London at the Michelin Star Ritz for 3 ½ years taught the true meaning of long hours, hard work and falling asleep on your journey home. It also taught me the necessity for passion & pride in what you do and following the completion of a BA (Hons) I decided to immerse myself in the security world as my family have done before me, by pursuing a career in Cybersecurity recruitment.
Working in London for a well-regarded technology headhunting firm, specializing in Information Security; since 2013 I have exclusively recruited for various forms of information & cybersecurity positions with clients ranging from leading Investment Banks to specialist vendors and top-tier consultancy practices.
In 2017 I joined the TechStream Group as one of the pioneer members of the North America Cybersecurity talent acquisition team and to head the recruitment for cybersecurity & risk advisory consulting clients from our New York office. Working with leading consultancies building robust security practices & capabilities and niche advisory services in areas such as GRC, QSA’s, Assurance services, DFIR, Pen testing, Architecture, Encryption, DP, DLP, to name a few. I feel I am able to contribute to nationwide cybersecurity in my own way, driven by passion, transparency and honesty.
As a dual citizen (US & UK) I have had the benefit in my early life of spending large amounts of my time living in both locations which has fortunately continued into my recruitment career and thus far allowed me to work in TechStream offices in London, Spain & New York.
Following completion of a BSc in International Business Management I began my career in EarthStream in 2013 (a TechStream Group Company), focusing on EMEA Energy Sectors before becoming a founding member of the North America launch team in 2014 and continuing my work identifying & placing senior technical staff into critical infrastructure organizations (primarily energy providers). Gaining a depth of experience in our partners critical issues surrounding industrial control systems, SCADA and GIS this provided a natural pathway to evolve our core engineering offering into the [much needed] techno-commercial focus of vendor suppliers.
With the launch of TechStream Groups new brands in 2016 I became a founding member of the North America CloudStream & CyberStream team and head our Commercial Cyber Security Practice with a heavy focus in Sales, Sales Engineering, Business Development and Marketing. We work with a plethora of Cyber Security Vendors including international and domestic series A & B Start-Up’s and larger Pre-IPO and established Public firms selling disruptive Cyber Security offerings. Our Commercial Cyber Security team has a depth of networks in territories across North America and a deep understanding of the nuances of differing cyber solutions available in the market and how these differentiators are applied to commercial, sales & marketing strategies.
I regularly attend conferences such as RSA & BlackHat, Cyber Security meet up’s & networking events to keep up to date with this highly innovate market. I have the privilege of playing an advisory role in facilitating our cyber partners commercial strategies surrounding internationalization, Go-To-Market & value proposition positioning.
Having left school at the age of 18, I started my career as a technical support technician where I worked as a CCNA qualified network engineer. I quickly progressed into becoming a pre-sales engineer assisting the business development managers in the design and identification of which services we should be implementing on the clients site.
After working as a pre-sales engineer for a year, I made the move into becoming a business development executive specialising in providing managed cloud-based solutions to recruitment and asset management firms around the country.
After spending 3 years working in the technical sector for a high growth manged service provider, I decided to take the jump and start my career as a recruitment consultant.
Using my experience developed over the years, I specialise in finding cyber specialists for leading vendors across the country from series A through D funding during their most challenging growth cycles.

I have been working within the technology and cybersecurity space for the last five years and worked for three major companies ranked on the Fortune 500 list. Roger comes from a financial services background having worked at Bloomberg LP in New York and Singapore for over 6 years. Using his sales expertise to manage key accounts in Southeast Asia and ANZ as well as hunting for new business within the financial research and analytics space. Roger has a proven track record of product growth and development in addition to project management acting as a liaison between sales, implementation and engineering.

Claudia has seven years in a cybersecurity US startup as CHRM and Co-founder with headhunting experience spanning over four years. She enjoys working with innovative clients/companies who are searching for different routes to change the face of the tech industry.

I lead our Information Security & Cybersecurity contracts talent acquisition function in North America, meaning I will be supplying cybersecurity consultants and contractors directly to clients/end-user environments to help secure their most critical applications and networks. My approach is not only efficient but client relationship-oriented, so I am confident that we can meet any project expectation or specification.
I hold a BSc in Organizational Management Studies with a focus in Business Economics from Gettysburg College and combine this with 3 years of technical contract recruitment in cloud product implementation & integrations. I joined CyberStream in July 2019 as a Sr. Talent Consultant sitting in the highly productive Sales and Marketing team. I graduated from Syracuse University and my background in recruitment comes from working in the Pharmaceutical sector placing senior candidates and department heads. I’ve transitioned into the dynamic market of Cyber Security where I help grow the Sales teams for exciting Pre – IPO startups and established Enterprise Cyber Security clients.

Lucian has over 5 years’ experience within Technical Recruitment. In 2019 he shifted full time into the Cyber sector.
He has a strong understanding of emerging technologies and is a keen believer of disruption of old paradigms in order to create opportunities.
He has recruited top professionals across EMEA, having previously managed an account for a Global 500 UK-based business, recruiting into both the UK and the EU. He is now in charge of the MEA region with emphasis on R+D and Security Ops, specifically in Sub Saharan Africa and Israel, working closely with businesses who specialise in everything Cyber.
